Mark is a native of Savannah having graduated from Benedictine Military School in 1990. Mark received his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 1994. After college, Mark worked as a financial analyst in corporate finance with Stephens, Inc., one of the largest, off-Wall Street investment banks in the country. Mark also taught corporate finance at SDA Bocconi in Milan, Italy, and clerked on Capitol Hill for former Georgia U.S. Congressman, Jack Kingston. Mark received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Georgia in 2001.

Mark was admitted to the bar in 2001 and began practicing civil litigation with Brennan, Harris & Rominger in Savannah, Georgia. In 2005, Mark opened his own practice focusing on real estate, bankruptcy, and wills and estates.

Mark is admitted to practice in the state courts of Georgia as well as the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Georgia. He is a member of the State Bar of Georgia, the Savannah Bar Association, the American Bankruptcy Institute, and the National Association of Bankruptcy Attorneys.
